Guide to chapters 1 and 2 of Red Dead Redemption 2

Blessed the meek in Red Dead Redemption 2

Blessed are the gentle tricks, tips and secrets so that you have no problem in getting the gold medal.

Gold medal goals

  • While escaping, kill all law enforcement officers on horseback in 55 seconds or less.
  • Get 15 shots to the head.
  • Ends with at least 70% accuracy
  • Complete the mission without using health objects.

To be able to accept this mission, you must first have completed Quiet Times. As you'll remember, they've explained to you that Micah is in jail, so go to the Strawberry jail, west of the camp, and come in to see what the hell has happened.

Completing all the objectives of the medal is going to be complicated, but as you can see, it is quite descriptive and a pure matter of skill: make sure you have a rifle as a long weapon before you start "working".

Surround the building on the left of the door to talk to Micah through the bars. Arthur does not seem very enthusiastic about releasing him, but what the hell, he's a partner. Zoom into the machine next to the window to grab a hook and put it on the fence.

Things are going to get quite tense: there will be a lot of agents of the law that, logically, will not allow you to escape. They are very many, so make sure you do not move forward if you are not covered or sure that there is nobody in your way. It will be a long shootout with several stops.

Remember to try to aim at the head to get the medal. When you get to the horse, shoot out of the town and make sure you eliminate the agents that are chasing you to get the medal to kill them in less than a minute.

After that, you'll just have to continue with Micah to the camp while you listen to his explanations about what happened. Now you can buy the Schofield revolver in any armory.
