There are times when we need to connect an external hard drive or a USB drive to our Mac computer and the problem arises that the equipment does not recognize the external device that we have connected. Other times the same thing can happen with the hard disk of the computer itself.
Over time, various applications have appeared that make it easier for us to save space on our devices, sending our documents, data, photos, videos, etc. to the cloud.
Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud are the most named and the ones that almost all of us use and it is really quite easy to send our files to these types of apps.
The uncomfortable thing was that when we wanted to send one of these files quickly and safely from another application, such as WhatsApp, we couldn't.
We had to send the file by email or use third-party applications to be able to send them.
Luckily, in this latest WhatsApp update, they give us the ability to send all the files we have in the cloud to any of our contacts with just a few clicks.
How to send files stored in the cloud using WhatsApp
First of all, open WhatsApp.
Search in your chats for the contact you want to send a file stored in the cloud, open the keyboard, as if you wanted to write a message and click on the blue up arrow that you will see next to the bar where you write.
A drop-down opens with several options, from which you must choose Share document.
On the next screen, you will be able to see the different applications that are in the cloud and where you have stored your documents. Choose the cloud where you have it saved to be able to send it, be it iCloud Drive, Dropbox, etc.
Of course, only the applications that you have installed on the iPhone or iPad will appear.
You will see that the cloud application opens automatically, and you only have to select the document you want to send to your contact by WhatsApp.
Ready !, the application will do the rest of the work.
