As sure that many of you have already been able to check firsthand, this same week Microsoft started sending Windows 10 November 2019 Update . As a result, compatible devices have started receiving this second feature update of 2019.
However, although we may call it "update of features", it is not so in some ways. This is something we have been talking about over the last few months, and this is going to be considered as a small update. Moreover, some have classified it as more of a service pack than a major update as such. It is true that its installation is recommended, since it includes some small novelties and corrects detected errors.

Be that as it may, it is still a new evolution of the operating system that we must take into account. However, Redmond engineers are preparing a "real" update full of new features right now. We refer to the one currently referred to as 20H1 . This will be released in the spring of next year and, from what we have seen from the Insiders , it will come with many new features.
So much so that November 2019 is not considered entirely as an update of features, which differs in some important respects from previous ones. For example and as we will explain here, when taking a step back to uninstall it and return to the May 2019 Update . This is common and common among users who receive it, detect any failure or incompatibility, and wish to return to the previous version.
For some time now, the developer has put a button in Settings to take that step back within the first 10 days after installing the new version. We must know that we can access it through the combination of “Win + I” keys to load the Configuration window. Then we are in the "Update and security" section and in the right panel we opt for "Recovery".
Here we see a section called "Back to the previous version of Windows 10", but although it has been a few hours after installation, the button appears inactive.

But if we want to return to the previous version of Windows 10 , for whatever reason, it is not necessary to despair. We tell you this because we still have at our disposal an alternative option to achieve this, as we are going to show you. To do this, instead of locating ourselves in the “Recovery” section of the left panel, we click on “Windows Update”, where we see a link called “View update history”.
Well, we click on it and on screen we will see all the recent installations that have been made through Windows Update , including version 1909. Therefore, to remove it from our computer, we will only have to click on “Uninstall updates ”From the top of the window, and select 1909 from the list.
This simple method will give us the opportunity to take a step back in the event that we have detected any incompatibility, for example, after installing the new version of Windows . After that and as usual, we would only have to wait a few days until Microsoft corrected the problem to try again.
