One of Blizzard most characteristic hallmarks is that most of his projects do not reveal their release date until the development provides guarantees of being able to fulfill it, something that will also apply to the two new projects with forgiveness from World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, of course revealed in the BlizzCon 2019: Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV.
When will these games reach stores? It's a mystery, even for Blizzard: "I don't know [when OW2 will come out]. I have no idea," says Jeff Kaplan, director of the game. "Just let us do it right, it's what matters most to us. We don't have a date in mind." Something similar comments Luis Barriga, director of D4, during the panel of his new game: "We are not going to launch it soon. Not even in Blizzard's" soon "[famous for extending for years]."
After the stormy announcement of Diablo Immortal last year and the growing feeling that Overwatch's modes and events have stagnated, it seems sensible to present these projects specifically during this weekend. What we must now ask ourselves is how many fairs like this will happen until we can enjoy both games. It is likely, on the other hand, that Overwatch 2 is ready before Diablo 4: Blizzard warns that those responsible "will retire for a while" "after BlizzCon to be able to focus on the game, so we assume that there will not be much news for OW 1 until its sequel is more or less channeled for release.
