Washington accuses two alleged Chinese hackers of acting in coordination with his Government

The two suspects indicted on Thursday are fugitives while US authorities try to prosecute them, the Justice Department announced.

Washington has filed charges against two Chinese citizens, Zhu Hua and Zhang Shilong, whom it accuses of carrying out cyber attacks against the United States. and at least another eleven countries to the dictation of Chinese intelligence, has indicated a statement of the US Department of Justice released this Thursday.

According to the indictment, the alleged hackers committed cyber attacks against the computer networks of 45 companies in at least twelve states in the United States and eleven other countries.

The US government agency claims that the APT10 group gained access to more than 40 computers to steal confidential data belonging to the US Navy, including names, social security numbers, dates of birth, salary information, personal telephone numbers and email addresses of more than 100,000 of its members.
